Jinan-based commercial vehicle maker Sinotruk showcased its latest electric and diesel trucks at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover, Germany, highlighting models designed for long-haul transport, urban delivery and heavy-duty operations.

The new-generation SITRAK 4x2 electric tractor led the lineup, carrying a 600-kilowatt-hour battery for over 500 kilometers of range. Its megawatt charging takes the pack from 20 to 80 percent in 23 minutes, while using about 1.1 kWh per km. A Level 2+ driver-assistance system covers roughly 90 percent of highway driving.

It packs a 450 kWh battery for over 350 km of range, and its motor is rated at 400 kW with a 600 kW peak. Built on a double-layer high-strength frame, its powertrain is designed to last 10 years or 1.2 million km under an IP6K9K rating. The lineup also includes a 6x2 electric rigid truck, delivering over 400 km on a 580 kWh LFP battery.

For markets still reliant on diesel, Sinotruk fielded a 4x2 tractor with its 630-horsepower MC14 engine, 5 percent more fuel-efficient than its predecessor. Its driver-assistance system has run 2.5 billion km without an accident, the company said.
