They came together to strengthen bilateral ties, explore pathways for coordinated development, and open a new chapter in Shanghai-Linyi collaboration.
The conference featured a special presentation tracing Linyi's historical legacy and modern transformation. Through a dynamic combination of theatrical performances, songs, and storytelling, the program vividly portrayed the area's journey from its revolutionary past to its present-day prosperity. This allowed the audience to deeply appreciate its enduring cultural heritage and shared values that resonate with Shanghai's own pioneering spirit.
As one of China's most economically vibrant, open, and innovative areas, the Yangtze River Delta region stands as a powerful engine for Chinese modernization, with Shanghai serving as the nation's economic hub, gateway to the world, and a benchmark for technological innovation.
As a key bridgehead for Shandong province's integration into the Yangtze River Delta region, Linyi has actively embraced its role by leveraging its commercial logistics advantages and advanced manufacturing capabilities to proactively connect with Shanghai.
Since 2023, enterprises from the Yangtze River Delta region have signed 1,811 investment projects in Linyi, with industry leaders such as Shanghai Electric, PepsiCo, Anhui BBCA Group and Shuanglin Group establishing operations there, deepening industrial cooperation steadily.
During the conference, Linyi promoted its key talent attraction policies and unveiled a major technological innovation project list, inviting talent and innovative teams from Shanghai to launch businesses and pursue development in Linyi.
The event saw the signing of 31 projects spanning nine flagship industrial chains, alongside speeches from enterprise delegates, investment pitches, and a presentation of Yangtze River Delta region cooperation outcomes.
