Linyi, a renowned revolutionary base in East China's Shandong province, cultivated Yimeng Spirit, which inspired generations of Chinese people to create a better life. The city hosted a promotional event in Shanghai from Aug 17 to 19 to attract investment, talent, and partnerships from the Yangtze River Delta region.

Bringing the Yimeng Spirit to the Yangtze River Delta, the "Yimeng Spirit in the Yangtze River Delta" event aims to highlight the contemporary value of the Yimeng spirit and foster collaborations in industry and talent development.

The gathering is expected to attract around 260 participants, including about 220 from the Yangtze River Delta region. On the agenda are a keynote presentation on the Yimeng spirit and the city's development achievements, followed by four parallel panel discussions focused on key areas: cross-border trade and Linyi's commercial hub, investment and funding opportunities, agricultural and food processing cooperation, as well as broader industry-talent integration.

Several agreements are expected to be signed during the event, including projects focusing on supermarket supply chains, smart poultry farming, and food processing. The event underscores Linyi's commitment to integrating with the Yangtze River Delta region and leveraging its strategic position as Shandong's "southern gateway". By showcasing its 13 flagship industry value chains, talent incentives, and innovation platforms, Linyi aims to attract high-level experts and forge lasting partnerships with one of China's most dynamic economic zones.
