During the event, the delegation visited key local enterprises such as Taikai Group and Mount Tai Moppet Co Ltd to learn about their operations and development. At the trade cooperation forum, representatives from Cambodia, Honduras, and Mali delivered presentations on their countries' priority cooperation sectors, followed by in-depth discussions with Tai'an businesses.
Since 2015, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade has organized annual BRI business delegations to Tai'an, building bridges for economic cooperation and helping local companies connect with global markets.
Under the BRI, Tai'an has forged practical partnerships with multiple BRI countries. Local enterprises have participated in cross-border infrastructure projects, established localized operations in Central Asia and Europe, and built modern production bases in Southeast Asia and Africa.
"We have been developing and manufacturing high-voltage transmission equipment for years, supplying complete sets of equipment and integrated solutions for grid infrastructure and new energy projects in BRI countries," said Zhang Guodong from Taikai Group. Leveraging its product development and quality control systems, Taikai continues to meet overseas power infrastructure needs.
Tai'an has long pursued a new industrialization strategy, with its machinery and transmission equipment earning strong reputations across BRI markets. The city plans to further consolidate economic ties with Southeast Asia while expanding trade with the Americas and Africa, injecting fresh momentum into its high-level opening-up and economic growth.
