Shandong highlights cultural tourism offerings in Sydney

Print PrintThe "Hometown of Confucius, Friendly Shandong" Cultural and Tourism Promotion Conference was held at the China Cultural Center in Sydney, Australia, providing a platform for cultural exchange and collaboration.
Over 100 attendees, including government officials, business leaders, and media representatives, gathered to explore the province's rich cultural tourism offerings.
The event spotlighted a range of new tourism products designed for Australian visitors, including six unique travel routes. It also introduced updated flight routes, such as direct connections between Australia and Shandong, along with enhanced services.
Cities such as Jining, Dezhou, and Linyi presented their distinctive tourism packages, cultural experiences, and special benefits, such as tax refund policies, underlining the province's appeal to international visitors.
Shandong's vibrant cultural heritage and rich tourism offerings were brought to life through a video and an engaging on-site photo exhibition. Attendees were also treated to displays of local specialties, artistic performances, and traditional culture, including the famous Yangjiabu woodblock New Year paintings and paper-cutting.
