Dongying introduces Shandong tourism to South Korea

Dongying in East China's Shandong province, home to stunning Yellow River Delta landscapes, recently hosted an international meeting for South Korean tourism enterprises and associations to showcase Shandong's international tourism offerings.

From Nov 14 to 15, 40 delegates, including representatives from the Korea National Tourism Organization, Korea Tourism Association, Hana Tour, and travel KOLs, explored Dongying's highlights and attended the meeting.

The group visited the Dongying Art Museum, Lijin county's historic street, and the Yellow River Estuary Ecological Scenic Area. Delegates praised the unique exhibition experiences, preservation of traditional culture, and harmony between humans and nature.

During the meeting on the evening of Nov 15, China Tourism Group unveiled a series of Shandong tourism products, including new itineraries for the South Korean market. Dongying representatives highlighted the Yellow River Delta's natural landscapes and spectacular bird migrations, alongside local delicacies like the Yellow River Estuary hairy crab and cultural stories. South Korean guests expressed strong interest, opening new avenues for tourism cooperation between the two regions.

The event established a new platform for cultural and tourism exchange, allowing South Korean partners to gain a deeper understanding of Dongying and its unique natural and cultural charms.
