Song Liansheng, Party secretary of the Linyi Small Commodities Chamber of Commerce, is preparing for the 3rd Linyi Small Commodities Exhibition in Malaysia, scheduled for the end of April.
"This year's exhibition is set to be significantly upgraded, with expectations of 160 to 200 enterprises participating and the cultivation of around 50 new foreign trade merchants. We aim to increase the export volume of Linyi products and achieve a 10 percent boost in foreign trade transactions compared to the previous edition, further enhancing Linyi's market share in Malaysia," Song said.
The Chamber is collaborating with a Malaysian company to establish an overseas warehouse in Malaysia, which will facilitate the entry of more small commodities from Linyi into the Southeast Asian market, Song added.

This year, the internationalization of the trade city has been prioritized as a key project, with a focus on enabling the business communities within the trade city to expand globally.
Over 200 enterprises are participating in overseas exhibition and negotiation activities. Four new overseas commercial hubs are being established. Six international buyer service centers have been set up, bringing the total to 45 centers, and sixteen training sessions have been held, training 5,000 foreign trade professionals.
In addition, Linyi continues to optimize its development environment, in order to empower enterprises and the Linyi Trade City to engage in internationalization efforts.
