The opening ceremony, held in Dezhou's Laoling Film Studio, features a creative program matrix, integrating all agendas into a single storyline through a situational drama, showcasing the unique charm of film culture and the driving force of the film industry on tourism.
The film studio, with its seven themed sets such as a 1:1 replica of San Francisco's Chinatown in 1900 and the prosperous Chang'an West Market of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), has become a new landmark for film and tourism in North China. Multiple productions have been filmed here, including the film Detective Chinatown 1900 and the TV show Flourished Peony.
As part of the launch of the "Explore Through Movies" tourism event in Dezhou this year, Shandong, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, unveiled a film tourism golden circuit. It connects major film sites across Shandong, including China Movie Metropolis in Qingdao, Linyi Red Film Base, and Laoling Film Studio.
Additionally, the recently launched "Qilu No 1" tourism train connects 22 stations across 11 cities in Shandong, linking over 200 scenic spots. It offers a unique travel experience combining dining, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment. From climbing Taishan Mountain to exploring ancient cities, Shandong's rich cultural heritage awaits visitors.
