A cross-border e-commerce development conference was held in Linyi, East China's Shandong province on April 22 as part of the efforts to use online platforms such as Amazon to empower Shandong province's foreign trade.

Themed "Empowering the Industrial Belt to Go Global through Cross-Border E-Commerce," the event focused on the industrial trends and challenges enterprises face by bringing together eight major cross-border e-commerce platforms to analyze emerging market opportunities. It aimed to provide enterprises in Linyi with a one-stop platform for international exchanges, integrate full-chain services to establish a diversified and international brand export system.

This conference seeks to promote the deep integration of cross-border e-commerce with the industrial belt in Linyi and combine new foreign trade formats with the city's high-quality supply chain, injecting strong impetus into the high-quality development of Linyi's foreign trade.

As one of the world's largest e-commerce platforms, Amazon boasts hundreds of millions of active users, over 6 million enterprise and institutional customers, and a mature e-commerce infrastructure with efficient services. Linyi, known as a logistics hub and a renowned market, hosts hundreds of thousands of merchants, over 10,000 product categories, and more than 100 specialized wholesale markets. Combining the two parties holds natural advantages, immense potential, and vast opportunities.
