Who knew the viral "bear shake" dance could look this stunning?

Against a backdrop of blue skies and golden sands in Yantai, Shandong province, dancers from the Shandong Song and Dance Theatre bring a scene from dance drama The Great Dyehouse to life.

The viral "bear shake" moves trace back to Shandong Drum Yangko Dance, a traditional folk art that also inspired the choreography for The Great Dyehouse. With powerful movements and graceful rhythms, this performance brings centuries-old dance traditions to life in a whole new setting.
