Forging deeper regional integration and win-win collaborative development, the Shanghai–Linyi exchange conference on industrial and talent cooperation has built a vital bridge for cross-regional resource docking, industrial linkage and talent exchange between the two cities, while bringing the profound Yimeng Spirit to the Yangtze River Delta region.

Held in Shanghai from Aug 16 to 18, the conference assembled over 220 guests from all walks of life to advance pragmatic cooperation between Shanghai and Linyi in investment, agricultural and logistics industries, as well as talent recruitment and introduction.

Zhang Baoliang, Party secretary of Linyi, noted that the city stands as Shandong province's pivotal gateway connecting the Yangtze River Delta region, witnessing its remarkable transformation from a revolutionary heritage base to a dynamic hub of high-quality development. Adopting an integrated "culture + industry + talent" promotion model, the event combined spiritual culture with city brand building, and high-end talent recruitment.

The conference yielded fruitful cooperation outcomes, with a total of 31 project agreements signed. These projects cover nine key industries including advanced stainless steel and special steel, high-end engineering equipment, fine chemicals, biomanufacturing, and new energy vehicles.

The event also featured Linyi's key talent policies and the release of major scientific and technological innovation projects, extending a sincere invitation to Shanghai's talents and innovation teams to start businesses and pursue development opportunities in Linyi. Meanwhile, themed side forums on trade, investment, and agricultural processing were held during the conference to facilitate deeper industry-talent integration.
