Print PrintThe Seminar on Overseas Expansion for Linyi Enterprises with Economic Counsellors of African Embassies in China was held on July 10 in Linyi, Shandong province, helping local businesses tap African markets.
The event facilitated high-level, targeted consultations between over 50 of Linyi's leading export-oriented enterprises and representatives from African nations, fostering strong professional collaboration.
By the end of the sessions, several companies had finalized preliminary cooperation agreements, helping Linyi's dominant industries to secure a stronger foothold in African markets.
By establishing a long-term relationship with foreign diplomats, the city aims to address common challenges faced by local firms, such as fragmented market access and limited high-level networking.
The initiative is designed to streamline the export channels between Linyi's core industries — including small commodities and construction machinery — and African markets. By consolidating Linyi's position as a central hub for China-Africa trade, the city is effectively broadening its international trade horizons.
