Print PrintThe fourth China International Supply Chain Expo opened in Beijing on June 22, drawing 676 exhibitors from 85 countries and regions. This is Shandong’s fourth time participating, demonstrating its commitment to opening-up and expanding cooperation opportunities for local enterprises.
Shandong Port emphasized its transformation into a world-class integrated supply chain service provider. "The ports serve as the hub of commercial opportunities, cargo, and information. The company integrates resources across port, logistics, finance, trade, and information sectors," said Gao Ya, vice president of the group. The company has built a comprehensive supply chain platform covering automotive, chemical, equipment, and light industries, offering tailored solutions to help Shandong enterprises access global markets.
Tsingtao Brewery, a four-time "perfect attendance" exhibitor, brought multiple subsidiaries to the expo. "Qilu culture has shaped Tsingtao's reputation for quality, helping it reach over 120 countries worldwide," said Dai Guoshun, chairman of Tsingtao Zhilianshunda Technology. The company seeks global partners in raw material R&D, smart manufacturing, and green logistics to enhance the competitiveness of the beer industry’s value chain.
The expo also provided a practical matchmaking platform for specialized SMEs. Dongying-based Tianzhong Kangyuan Pharmaceutical Group, which specializes in plant extracts and enzymes, has already exported to Southeast Asia and plans to expand into the Middle East and Russia. Through a cooperation meeting focusing on trade exchange between Shandong and countries involved in the Belt and Road initiatives on-site, the company secured preliminary cooperation intentions with Middle Eastern buyers.
During the expo, Shandong hosted a signing ceremony, in which cooperation memoranda were signed with Belarus' Vitebsk Free Economic Zone, Serbia's Development Agency, and Dubai's Multi Commodities Centre. Over 150 Chinese and foreign enterprises involved in international trade, manufacturing, and construction materials engaged in one-on-one matchmaking, reaching multiple tentative cooperation agreements.
