Lydia Liu, vice-chair and secretary-general of the Global Investment Council, called on multinational companies to adopt a China-centered strategy while scaling up localized operations across other regions in an interview at the 7th Qingdao Multinationals Summit in Shandong on June 15.

Amid growing economic uncertainty and geopolitical challenges, she said multinationals should serve as stabilizers, connectors, innovation drivers and responsible stakeholders, helping strengthen cooperation and build resilience.
