The seventh China–CEEC Local Leaders' Meeting and 2026 Shandong International Friendship Cities Cooperation and Exchange Week kicked off in Jinan, capital of Shandong province, on May 26.

As part of the event, the Annual Meeting of China–CEEC Modern Agricultural Science and Educational Innovation Alliance was held, highlighting growing collaboration in agricultural technology, talent exchange and scientific research.

Twelve new members joined the China–CEEC agricultural alliance, further promoting collaboration in agriculture, research, and education, said Stanishev Momchil Emilov, director of the Association for the Promotion of Agricultural Cooperation between China and CEEC.
