Agricultural machinery manufactured by Weifang-based Ensign Heavy Industry made a strong impression at Caspian Agro 2026, a leading agricultural exhibition in the Caspian and Caucasus regions, held in Azerbaijan from May 6 to 8.

The company's tractor products generated strong interest among local agricultural operators and buyers, many of whom stopped to watch live demonstrations and explore potential business opportunities.

The showcase also attracted high-level attention on opening day, when Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and officials from the country's Ministry of Agriculture visited the Ensign exhibition area to learn about the machinery's performance, technological innovation and overseas market presence, voicing recognition for the products on display.

According to Yi Xiaoming, deputy general manager of Ensign, the tractor lineup was designed specifically to meet the agricultural conditions and farming needs of the Caucasus region, covering applications such as large-scale field cultivation, orchard management, and livestock farming.

The products have already proven their reliability to local users. One Azerbaijani customer noted that a high-horsepower tractor he purchased earlier had logged more than 2,000 working hours over the past two years, maintaining stable and efficient performance even under challenging conditions.

As a major hub for agricultural machinery manufacturing, Weifang has actively encouraged local companies to enhance research and development, optimize product offerings, and improve overseas service networks, helping more locally made equipment expand its presence in global markets.
