The Linyi Municipal People's Government held a press conference on Feb 12 to announce the upcoming third Linyi Entrepreneurs Conference.

The event outlines three major priorities to support the development of the private sector.

The first priority is enhancing the status of entrepreneurs. The conference will establish a dedicated honor display corridor and prioritize business leaders in seating arrangements for official photos to recognize their contributions.

Publicity efforts will be expanded through large-scale displays at major landmarks to present local enterprise achievements. A cross-platform media campaign will follow to share the success stories of Linyi entrepreneurs and improve public visibility.

The second priority is strengthening the role of leading enterprises in setting industrial benchmarks for the private economy. The city is refining its "Phoenix List" selection standards and plans to lower entry thresholds for national-level innovative enterprises. A new "Golden Ribbon" list for business associations will be introduced to promote support for enterprise development. For the first time, banking and financial institutions will be included in the city's "Golden Star" business environment evaluation system.

The third priority is helping enterprises overcome difficulties and improving service efficiency. The municipal government has formulated 20 tasks for 2026. These measures follow extensive field research and target five critical pain points, including financing, sci-tech services, and operating costs. The initiative aims to improve service delivery and support the stable development of the private sector.

With the third Linyi Entrepreneurs Convention set to open tomorrow, the event is expected to boost business confidence and inject fresh momentum into the city’s private economy.
