Print PrintShandong is pioneering a new model of transport-tourism integration through its "transport tourism No 1" project, aiming to boost domestic demand and create a unique travel experience through a diverse range of travel products.
This year, the project introduced several landmark initiatives. The Friendly Shandong Qilu No 1 tourism train, launched during the National Day holiday, connects 22 stations across 11 cities in the province, providing integrated travel services. It combines leisure and entertainment on the train with seamless connections to tourist attractions.

Another highlight is the 100-li (50-kilometer) Yellow River tourism route in Binzhou, which links 26 scenic spots, 80 characteristic villages, and 12 camping sites. This ecological corridor not only protects the Yellow River's ecosystem but also transforms ecological advantages into tourism benefits, achieving a win-win for ecological and economic gains.
Shandong's efforts also include the Dahe No 1 driving route along the Yellow River, the Low-altitude No 1 flight tour, and the Grand Canal No 1 yacht experience. These travel models aim to create immersive travel experiences, integrating land, water, and air transportation with natural and cultural landscapes.
