Enhanced cooperation along the East Asian-Australasian Flyway can pave the way for a shared ecological future, stated a senior nature conservation expert during an international birdwatching event in the Yellow River Delta, Dongying, Shandong province.

James Fitzsimons, senior advisor of Global Protection Strategies of The Nature Conservancy (TNC), emphasized the importance of TNC's partnership with the Yellow River Delta National Nature Reserve in advancing wetland conservation.

He also stressed the importance of both local and global collaboration and knowledge exchange across the flyway in areas such as scientific research, community engagement, and conservation promotion.
