The Better House Technology Exhibition was held in Beijing on Nov 7, unfolding the integrated blueprint to build "quality houses" from scripting to construction.

China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Corp and China Construction Science and Technology Group jointly developed the "quality construction", "smart construction" and "harmonious home" model-house zones, showcasing more than 70 breakthrough technologies.

Their exhibit redefines building: robots assemble components in a factory while workers quickly install them on-site, demonstrating a data-driven, human-machine, industrialized and fully digital construction process.

Shifting construction from dusty jobsites to data-driven factories turns building into a repeatable, optimizable industry; higher dimensional accuracy plus digitally verified seismic, fire, water and acoustic performance make "quality housing" an everyday, scalable reality.

In the "smart construction" zone, the Tianchan intelligent construction robot system was put in the spotlight, rewriting construction with a platform-driven, digital robot crew that cuts labor by 60 percent and hits one floor every five days, This turns crowded sites into precision swarm-intelligence workflows. The "harmonious home" model-house zone offered visitors an immersive and future-like house picking experience — just like how people buy a car. Pick structure, layout, decoration and smart devices on a configurator; a robotic factory prefabs the modules, trucks them to the buyer site and snaps them together in days. Driven by innovation, this innovation is turning safety, comfort and wellness into everyday realities and propelling construction toward greener, faster and people-centred growth, industry watchers note.
