Professor Fang Zhaohui from Tsinghua University's School of Humanities highlighted the Nishan forum's pivotal role in China's cultural outreach during the 11th Nishan Forum on World Civilizations in Qufu, Shandong province on July 9.

"Cultural exchange requires authentic voices," said Fang, noting that the forum provides Confucianism and traditional Chinese culture with a global stage.

The scholar further noted that Confucian thought, with the emphasis on harmony, moral self-cultivation, and respect for diversity, offers valuable insights for addressing today's global challenges and promoting peaceful coexistence among nations.
