Tiangong Kaiwu (The Exploitation of the Works of Nature) is the world's first comprehensive work on agriculture, handicrafts, science and technology, written by Song Yingxing, a scientist from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), who lived approximately 300 years ago. It is known as the "17th-century Chinese encyclopedia of craftsmanship and technology".
Shandong, a pivotal manufacturing province in China, is involved in all 41 major industrial categories, making it one of the provinces with the most comprehensive industry and most complete system in the country. The digital economy makes up more than 49 percent of the province's total GDP.
