Over 40 international students from Shandong Jiaotong University visited the Rose Town in Pingyin county, Jinan on May 17, where they embarked on an immersive cultural journey centered around the region's iconic rose industry.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to taste a variety of rose-themed delicacies, including rose pastries and rose tea. At the Rose Industry Park, they observed the production lines for rose essential oil and rose flower tea, gaining firsthand insights into the sophisticated processing techniques used to make these products.

Pingyin has been cultivating rose for over 1,300 years. The county now is home to more than 40 rose-related enterprises and produces over 140 types of products across eight major categories, with the brand value of Pingyin Roses standing at 3.24 billion yuan ($0.45 billion).
