Shandong Heavy Industry debuts at Australia's largest expo

Print PrintShandong Heavy Industry Group made a remarkable debut at the National Diesel Dirt and Turf Expo (DDT) from May 16 to 18 in Sydney, Australia's largest construction machinery fair.
Under the theme "WE ARE ONE", the company's subsidiaries, including Weichai Power, Sinotruk, and Shantui, showcased their advanced products and core components in fields such as forestry, mining, road construction, municipal engineering, and new energy applications. They highlighted China's leading role in the high-end, intelligent, and green development of the construction machinery industry.
Shantui's SE335LC excavator, designed for Australia's tough mining conditions, stood out with its high efficiency and low fuel consumption on the first day of the expo. The group also introduced the LE20-X5 electric loader, which also proved popular. The device reduces operating costs by 70 percent and offers up to eight hours of battery life, meeting Australia's strict environmental regulations.

Weichai's M series large-bore engines, such as the 6M33 and 20M33, showcased their high performance and reliability, with applications in data centers, oil, and medical fields. Furthermore, Sinotruk's Sitrak G7 6x4 dump truck, featuring a low-emission, high-torque engine, also attracted significant attention. In 2024, Sinotruk's heavy truck sales in Australia surged by 83 percent, proving its competitive edge in the global high-end market.
