Linyi commodity exhibition ties strong cooperation with Kazakhstan

Print PrintThe 2nd China (Linyi)-Kazakhstan International Commodity Exhibition begins May 15 and will run until May 17 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The three-day event will see 112 enterprises from Linyi in East China's Shandong province, and over 10,000 buyers from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and other Central Asian countries.
Under the Belt and Road Initiative, Linyi has been strengthening cooperation with Kazakhstan. In 2023, Linyi's total trade with Central Asian countries reached $ 340 million, with Kazakhstan accounting for over 50 percent. In 2024, the city further deepened its economic and trade ties with Kazakhstan as the first commodity exhibition was held.
The event, jointly organized by Linyi Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Linyi Mall Management Committee, aims to further strengthen economic cooperation and promote high-quality products from both regions.
