As a Chinese saying goes, distance cannot separate true friends who remain close, even when thousands of miles apart.

Recently, the Shandong People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (SDPAFFC) donated 22,000 protective masks to friendly organizations in 11 countries including Greece, Sri Lanka, Italy, Japan, Austria, France, Spain, India, Pakistan, the UAE, and Cambodia to support their efforts in fighting COVID-19.

The first batch of masks headed for seven friendly organizations has already been sent out, with the second batch to be sent out later this week.

Since the outbreak of the coronavirus, various international friendly organizations and many international friends have expressed their support for the epidemic prevention and control efforts taken in Shandong.

At present, the epidemic is spreading in many countries around the world.

The SDPAFFC has expressed its sympathies to international friendly organizations and international, donated protective masks, helped friendly organizations abroad fight the epidemic, and deepened relations with them.

All of these efforts speak volumes about the spirit of solidarity in overcoming difficulties.
