Jeollanam-do, South Korea has shown strong solidarity with Shandong province amid the COVID-19 outbreak, even donating medical supplies to help the province overcome the disease.

After the epidemic situation in the ROK took a turn for the worse, Shandong wasted no time donating protective supplies to Jeollanam-do, which recently arrived.

Vice Governor Yoon Byung tae of Jeollanam-do received the donations in person and thanked Shandong for being a true friend in a time of need.

Jeollanam-do established friendly relations with Shandong in 1996, and the two sides have carried out exchange and cooperation in various fields.
