The Heze International Communication Platform launched on Oct 29, offering global audiences a comprehensive English-language portal to discover the city.

Known as "one capital and four homes" — the Peony Capital of China, and the Home of Calligraphy and Painting, Traditional Opera, Martial Arts and Folk Art — Heze sits at the junction of Shandong, Jiangsu, Henan and Anhui provinces, on the banks of the Yellow River.

The platform features seven main sections and more than 20 sub-sections, including city overview, latest news, culture and tourism, investment, international exchanges, special features and living services for foreign residents.

Through illustrated reports, visual charts, short videos, creative posters and AI foreign anchors, and backed by China Daily's overseas channels, the platform will present Heze's cultural heritage, industrial advantages and cooperation opportunities to the world.

It aims to support investment and talent recruitment while strengthening the city's reputation as the Peony Capital of China.
