Jasper Osita Nduagwuike, vice-president of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, said he was impressed by Linyi's industrial cluster model and the technologies local businesses have adopted.

Speaking on the sidelines of the fourth Linyi Trade City International Sourcing Conference, being held from Oct 28 to 30, Nduagwuike said that Nigeria had much to learn from Linyi's development experience. He expressed hope that more Nigerians would attend future editions of the exhibition, bring back what they learn, and put it into practice.

He also looked forward to closer exchanges between Linyi and Nigeria in industry, education, science and technology, and culture, helping both sides grow together.

The conference attracts more than 2,000 international buyers from over 110 countries and regions across Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Africa and the Middle East, along with more than 4,000 domestic purchasers, providing a platform for domestic and international businesses to connect and explore cooperation opportunities.

Linyi, known as the "Logistics Capital of China", is home to 136 specialized wholesale markets offering more than 6 million products across 27 major categories. From January to August, Linyi Trade City, one of China's largest wholesale market clusters, recorded total imports and exports of 85.75 billion yuan ($12.73 billion), up 9.7 percent year-on-year.
