In the Yellow River Delta Nature Reserve, Oriental white storks produced 536 chicks from 233 nests in 2025, a record high. The total number of Oriental white stork chicks bred in the reserve has now reached 4,260. As the world's largest breeding ground for the endangered Oriental white stork, the area welcomes hundreds of new chicks each year. The best time for birdwatching is from late October to April.
