"Good governance is the foundation for stability and economic development."

The main event of the Shandong Dialogue on China-Africa Good Governance was held in Jinan, Shandong province on Sept 22. South African Ambassador to China Dipuo Letsatsi-Duba described the dialogue as an important platform for Africa and China to explore new ways of collaboration and further deepen their relationship.

She said the visit to Shandong also offered an opportunity to see good governance in action, learn from the province's experience in modernization, and explore what lessons South Africa could draw.
