Yantai offers promising opportunities for cooperation on new technologies, Dario Martinez Rodriguez, chief commercial officer of MABI Robotic AG, said during the Program for the Multinational Corporations Yantai Business Tour in Yantai, a coastal city in Shandong province, on Sept 9.

The event, themed "Multinational Corporations and Yantai: Advancing Green Development, Pushing Innovation and Forging the Future", brought together more than 200 representatives from multinational corporations and international business associations and organizations.

MABI Robotic develops high-precision CNC robotic systems for precision manufacturing, combining robotics and CNC technology for applications including aerospace and other high-precision fields.

The Swiss robotics company is exploring opportunities to enter the Chinese market to bring its technologies to China, according to Rodriguez.

He highlighted Yantai's diverse industrial ecosystem, including robot component manufacturers and an aerospace cluster, which he said could provide a strong foundation for the application of the company's technology.

"We want to bring new technologies from Switzerland to China," Rodriguez said.
