Print PrintSinotruk, a heavy-duty truck manufacturer and subsidiary of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, claimed three top industry rankings from January to July, driven by solid domestic operation, continuous green technology R&D, and global market expansion.
The Jinan-based manufacturer delivered 218,700 heavy-duty trucks during this period, marking a 27 percent year-on-year increase and taking a 29.4 percent market share to rank first in total sales and overseas exports. Its HOWO and SITRAK dual-brand lineup caters to diverse transport demands, as fleet operators prioritize durability and low operating costs amid cyclical industry swings.
The company's new energy segment also posted explosive growth. The brand delivered 24,900 new energy heavy-duty trucks in the first seven months of this year, representing a 128.6 percent year-on-year uptick for a 16.1 percent market share.
In July, its deliveries reached 4,959 units, surging 164.8 percent year-on-year to take the monthly lead with a 17.3 percent share of the market. It develops battery-electric, hybrid, and hydrogen fuel vehicles equipped with independently engineered e-drive axles for logistics, mining, and construction scenarios.
Globally, Sinotruk operates 37 knock-down assembly plants and more than 700 service outlets, transforming its business model from finished vehicle exports to fully localized industrial capacity output.
Looking ahead, the company will push forward core technical upgrades to further lift its overall competitiveness in the global commercial vehicle market.
