Five international content creators explored the Laoshan Mountain Scenic Area in Qingdao, East China's Shandong province, on July 25, discovering a destination where Taoist heritage, coastal villages and striking mountain scenery come together.

The visit began at Taiqing Palace, one of Laoshan Mountain's best-known Taoist landmarks. The visitors explored the historic complex, admired its centuries-old trees, viewed a statue of Laozi (Lao Tzu), a central figure in Taoist tradition, and learned about the area's rich Taoist heritage.

They later headed to Ximaiyao village, a coastal community tucked between the mountains and the sea. Its hillside homes, quiet lanes and expansive coastal views offered a glimpse into the slower pace of rural life in Qingdao.

From ancient architecture and Taoist traditions to sweeping mountain and sea views, the creators documented their experiences to share with overseas audiences, presenting Qingdao as a city where natural beauty is enriched by a deep cultural heritage.
