China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, or Sinotruk, a subsidiary of Shandong Heavy Industry Group (SHIG), achieved strong growth in the first half of 2026, with its heavy-duty truck sales, exports, and new energy vehicle business maintaining globally leading positions in the industry.

According to statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, Sinotruk sold 189,000 heavy-duty trucks during the period, up 27 percent year-on-year, with its new energy heavy-duty truck sales surging 141.3 percent compared to the same period last year to 25,000 units.

Leveraging its mature overseas operation system, Sinotruk has been strengthening its global edge. In the first half of the year, the company exported 103,000 heavy-duty trucks, up 46.5 percent year-on-year and accounting for nearly half of China's heavy-truck exports. To date, Sinotruk's products have reached more than 150 countries and regions, supported by overseas manufacturing facilities and service networks that provide local customers with efficient solutions.

Sinotruk's sustained market leadership is driven by the industrial advantages of SHIG. With integrated resources across the value chain, a global footprint with KD plants and service networks, smart green manufacturing, and a full-lifecycle service system, the company has developed a comprehensive portfolio spanning conventional and new energy vehicles for a wide range of applications.

Sinotruk will continue to advance intelligent manufacturing and green development as it transitions from a traditional vehicle manufacturer to a provider of comprehensive transportation solutions, further strengthening its global competitiveness.
