The China-Africa Economic and Trade Dialogue between Linyi and African diplomatic envoys was held in Linyi, Shandong province, on July 10, providing a platform to deepen economic ties between the city and African nations.

Infrastructure, agriculture, food processing and more — Gabon sees strong potential for cooperation with Linyi businesses. During the event, Laurent Aunouviet A., first counsellor at the Gabonese Embassy in China, shared why his country welcomes more investment and partnerships from Linyi.

"I'm very excited to attend this dialogue," he said. "I met many Linyi enterprises and saw a wide range of products — construction machinery, housing materials, poultry and more. Everything we need."

He noted the dialogue presents a valuable opportunity for Linyi companies to explore the Gabonese market and discover new business prospects. "If Linyi enterprises can go to Gabon for food processing, agriculture and related sectors, we welcome them," he added.
