Print PrintA South Korean economic and trade delegation visited Linyi Trade City from June 23 to 24, as the two sides explored practical cooperation in resource recycling, green building materials and two-way trade.
The visit was facilitated by Linyi's overseas service station in South Korea. The delegation brought together South Korean organizations and enterprises in urban regeneration, economic and cultural exchange, and environmental industry cooperation.
On June 23, the delegation visited Linyi's wood and stone industries, including local industry associations and production bases. Discussions focused on building a China-South Korea circular economy cooperation demonstration zone, developing green building materials, making high-value use of industrial waste, attracting investment, exporting recycled products to South Korea, and creating a green circular industry cooperation platform.
A themed meeting on the circular economy was held at the Linyi Trade City Administrative Committee on June 24. Representatives learned about Linyi Trade City's industrial layout, modern commercial logistics system, industrial foundation and market potential.
During the meeting, South Korean business representatives said the two countries have complementary advantages and broad room for cooperation in the resource recycling sector. South Korean enterprises and local companies in Linyi also signed cooperation agreements and reached several cooperation intentions.
After the meeting, the delegation visited Linyi Trade City Group and China Hotel Supplies City to learn more about local market operations and supply-chain services.
