Claudia Mbetjiha, diplomat of the Embassy of Namibia in China, recently experienced traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) firsthand. As a guest of the 7th China–CEEC Local Leaders' Meeting, she felt the charm of TCM during a visit to the Huanghe Tower in Binzhou, East China's Shandong province.
After undergoing a specialized TCM ear therapy session, Mbetjiha shared her enthusiasm. "We knew it was effective," she said, noting that she had researched TCM extensively before her visit. "So far, I feel good."
Deeply impressed by the experience, Mbetjiha expressed a desire to send her daughter to China to study the ancient medical practice. "It will help plenty of people in Namibia," she added.
