Culturally, Jining reinforced its status by hosting high-level international forums like the Nishan Forum on World Civilizations and opening the Nishan Joint Graduate School for Fine Traditional Chinese Culture. The Confucius-themed study tour initiative gained popularity, boosting the city's profile as a cultural destination.

Beyond economic growth, social development is also a pillar of the city's foundation. In 2025, Jining renovated 108 old urban neighborhoods, built 52 pocket parks, and distributed over 1.89 billion yuan in aid to vulnerable groups. Programs like the "Jishi rescue" social assistance mechanism and integrated care for seniors and children highlight its focus on inclusive growth.
