A group of German merchants went to Rizhao, East China's Shandong province, on Dec 19. They visited the city's matcha planting center, tea seedling breeding base, and matcha processing factory, reaching agreement on cooperation.

"For me, the Chinese market is the best in the world," said Gerhard Krupp, a member of the delegation from the global chocolate giant, Lindt & Sprungli (Germany).

On this visit, Krupp and his team brought a 100-metric-ton overseas warehouse order for Rizhao matcha and will collaborate with Rizhao Matcha Holdings Group to co-create the "Rizhao Matcha" overseas brand.
