The fourth Conference of Great Business Partners is scheduled to take place in Jinan, capital of Shandong province, from Oct 29 to 31.

The event aims to attract investment and talent on a broader scale and advance the development of a strong, modern province in the new era.

Since its launch in 2018, the conference has developed into a flagship platform for Shandong to promote Confucian culture and facilitate economic and trade cooperation.

This year's conference, themed "Ethical Confucian Merchants Embracing Innovation", features 11 events promoting Confucian business culture, industry cooperation, and contribution to one's hometown, including seminars, investment matchmaking, international exchanges, and forums for entrepreneurs and business associations.

Approximately 600 guests are expected to attend, including representatives from central State-owned enterprises (SOEs), private companies, and leading enterprises from Japan, South Korea, and ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) countries, as well as scholars, business association leaders, and representatives of overseas organizations.

A series of investment promotion meetings will also take place, including a gathering of merchants. In addition, Shandong's 16 cities will hold business promotional activities and organize inspection tours.
