Zhang Jennifer Kerstin, chairwoman of the German-Chinese Association for Scientific and Cultural Exchange, visited Linyi, Shandong, during the 21st Calligrapher Sage Culture Festival on Sept 20.

She was impressed by the city's landscape, calligraphy, and cultural sites. She also tried local cakes shaped like Linyi's landmarks, with a texture very different to what she's had in Germany.
