Linyi city in East China's Shandong province is poised to welcome the 21st edition of the Calligrapher Sage Culture Festival. It will be launched on Sept 20, bringing the city a cultural festive atmosphere.

As the hometown of Wang Xizhi, the calligrapher sage and scholar of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (317–420), Linyi has prepared eight themed events with 30 sub-events.

These will show the world the rich history and cultural heritage of the city, as well as the charm of the Chinese calligraphy culture. Here are some of the highlights you won't want to miss:
