The Shandong-Singapore Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference and the opening ceremony of the 2025 Singapore-Shandong Week kicked off in Singapore on Sept 17 to promote mutual high-quality development.

The event, themed "Partners in innovation, co-creators of the future", provided a platform for both sides to discuss new measures and visions for cooperation, enhance mutual understanding, and promote high-quality development.

During the event, Shandong and Singapore representatives made special presentations focusing on green and low-carbon high-quality development, artificial intelligence, the China-Singapore Jinan future industry city, shipping and trade cooperation, and clean energy-empowered industrial cooperation.

Eighteen key cooperation projects were signed on the spot, with a total value of approximately $820 million. These projects cover a wide range of fields, including new energy, cultural tourism, modern finance, education, medical and health care, high-end equipment, and new materials.

In addition, the event also featured an exhibition, showing Shandong's rich intangible cultural heritage.
