A newly opened "two-yuan store" in Accra, Ghana, was crowded with shoppers on Sept 1. Shelves filled with hair accessories, stationery, and daily necessities from Linyi, Shandong province, sold out quickly. All products were supplied by Haoduobao Supply Chain Company based in Linyi.

Just days earlier, the ninth Haoduobao-supported store in Ghana opened its doors. In its first three days, sales reached roughly 300,000 yuan ($42178.04), according to Geng Yanzhou, general manager of Haoduobao.

Haoduobao's success comes from its "whole-store export" model. Using its retail experience, the company helps foreign partners open stores quickly and easily. "Partners just need to provide a space. We handle design, logistics, and setup. From finding a location to opening, it takes only a month,” Geng explained.

This model has expanded across Asia and Africa, with over 200 stores and franchise locations in nearly 40 countries, including Vietnam, Laos, and Ghana. Haoduobao has more than 4,000 overseas partners.

The company is also building its overseas supply network. In Angola, it is creating a 3,000-square-meter warehouse, with 1,000 square meters for displays, and 2,000 for storage.

The first shipment, sent from Qingdao in May, has already arrived. Similar warehouses are currently being built in Vietnam and Uzbekistan.

Haoduobao is a new retail group that manages over 30,000 products in 13 categories, covering warehousing, logistics, and digital management.

According to Geng, the company plans to build an industrial park, including a trade center, e-commerce hub, and logistics center, to help more small and medium-sized businesses go global.
