The 39th Taishan Mountain International Climbing Festival is set to take place in Tai'an, East China's Shandong province, from Sept 5 to 10, focusing on the integration of culture, tourism, sports, and commerce.
With the tagline "Taishan Mountain: A symbol of national prosperity and people's well-being", the festival emphasizes brand building, creating a platform for cultural exchange, fitness, and high-end investment. It promotes widespread participation, with over 11,000 registered participants, as of now, in both professional and amateur categories, including climbers from 29 provinces across China.
In addition, the festival will also feature six cultural and tourism activities, such as the Shandong tourism-themed event's autumn season activity and a friendship match between China and South Korea, to foster a festive atmosphere. Distinguished guests, including industry elites, experts, athletes, representatives from the country's 5A scenic spots, and the globe, will be invited to join this rich and inclusive international event.
