The grand sea views shine aboard the Xunxian 6 tourist ferry — a key part of the Peninsula No 1 tourism initiative based in the port city Yantai, East China's Shandong province. 

Departing from Yantai's Penglai passenger port, the Xunxian 6 connects Tuoji Island, Daqin Island, Xiaoqin Island, Nanhuangcheng Island and Beihuangcheng Island — creating a Changdao island-hopping experience.

The project has launched five routes across the province — covering the cities of Qingdao, Yantai, Weihai and Rizhao. Eventually, these routes will connect to form a continuous coastal line, building a well-rounded peninsula maritime tourism product system.
