Igor Radev, a sinologist from North Macedonia, and chair scholar of the Knowledge Center of Sinology at the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts shared his insights to the main theme of the forum during the 11th Nishan Forum on World Civilizations on July 9.
According to Radev, the concept of "Beauty in Diversity" aligns closely with the Confucian philosophy of "Harmony without Uniformity".
"In order something to be beautiful, it must consist of different parts,” he said. “But those parts, those different elements must be arranged in a manner that do not conflict with each other but they make harmony together.”
