The Angola International Real Estate Trade Fair, or FINI 2025, opened on July 4 at Shopping Popular in Luanda, Angola, marking a significant step forward in China-Angola cooperation on trade, infrastructure, and urban development.

The event drew a distinguished lineup of political and business leaders from both countries, including Mara Quiosa, vice-president of the MPLA; Paulo Pombolo, secretary-general of the MPLA; Angola's Minister of Public Works, Urbanism, and Housing, Carlos Alberto Gregorio dos Santos; Camama Mayor Claudinete Fragoso de Almeida; Chinese Ambassador Zhang Bin; and representatives from over 400 enterprises. More than 1,000 guests from Angola, China, and neighboring countries attended the opening ceremony.

In her speech, Almeida noted the event's potential for long-term benefits to Camama's economy and urban infrastructure. "This is not just an exhibition — it is a signal that Camama is opening its doors to international development," she said.

Minister dos Santos emphasized the government's efforts to modernize urban infrastructure and accelerate housing reform. "The real estate sector is a driving force for Angola’s transformation," he said. "We welcome international partnerships that support inclusive growth and industrial upgrading."

Chinese Ambassador Zhang emphasized China's commitment to deepening economic ties with Angola. "This delegation of 200 companies from Linyi reflects China's confidence in Angola's potential," he said. "We will continue to encourage Chinese firms to invest in diversified sectors and work hand-in-hand with Angolan partners."

One of the main highlights was the debut of the 2025 Linyi Trade City Quality Products (Angola) Expo, showcasing over 10,000 products from 200 Chinese manufacturers. Exhibits ranged from construction materials and real estate services to machinery, finance, and consumer goods. Buyers from Angola, Portugal, Congo (DRC), and Zambia actively engaged in sourcing talks.

In the afternoon, an Angola national real estate summit featured panels on urban transformation and global opportunity. Experts explored how real estate can drive social progress, improve housing access, and attract foreign capital in a post-pandemic recovery. The forum sparked vibrant dialogue on sustainable city-building and China-Africa collaboration.
