RCEP regional import expo to be held in Linyi, Shandong

The 4th edition of the RCEP Regional (Shandong) Import Expo is set to be held in Linyi in East China's Shandong province from June 27 to 29, under the theme "Innovation, Openness and Integration".

Hosted by the Linyi Municipal People's Government and the the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, this expo will focus on showcasing high-quality imported commodities and facilitating trade connections while highlighting elements unique to Linyi. 

The event will take place at the Linyi International Expo Center and feature 11 large indoor exhibition areas as well as one multifunctional zone, with a total exhibition area of 35,000 square meters, equivalent to 1,200 international standard booths.

Various specialized exhibition areas will be set up in professional wholesale markets such as Linyi International Trade Center, Lanhua Imported Commodity City, Huafeng International Trade City, Hotel Supplies City, and International Food City.

The expo aims to serve as a platform for promoting opening-up, boosting consumption, bolstering economic and trade connections, and integrating domestic and foreign trade.

It will highlight content innovation, openness, integrated development, industrial upgrading and green and low-carbon growth.

Invitations have been extended to embassies and consulates of RCEP member countries and other key friendly nations to participate in the event.

Focusing on industrial upgrading, the expo will focus on Linyi's advantageous industries to facilitate economic and trade exchanges with RCEP countries in sectors such as timber, equipment manufacturing, modern agriculture, and commercial logistics.
